SMALL GROUPS

God designed us for community. Whether you feel like a “people-person” or not, we all need each other.
That’s why we have Small Groups; to find community where we can safely learn, grow, and experience the love of God.

At Austin Oaks, we believe that following Jesus in authentic relationships
with others is key to life transformation.

Each of our groups is unique, but all gather to engage with people, God’s Word,
and Jesus for the purpose of life transformation.

Summer Bible Study
Elijah - Faith & Fire
By Priscilla Shirer

Join us this summer for Priscilla Shirer’s study of the life and times of the prophet Elijah. Elijah and other biblical heroes each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable. Discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine and how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness emerge with their holy loyalty cemented, their courage emblazoned, and their confident belief in Him set afire.

The Men’s Ministry at Austin Oaks Church equips men of all ages to be disciples who are fully alive to God and his purposes. Through Bible studies, retreats and special events, we aim to be men after God’s own heart and provide opportunities for community and fellowship, with a good portion of fun along the way!

Our Spring study is titled Game Plan for Life: Average Joe. In the game of life, do you play for God or against Him? Men invest a great deal of time and energy enjoying any number of professional sports without recognizing God has invited them into the greatest game of all. He calls us off of the sidelines to play under the guidance of our one true Superstar—Jesus Christ. In this series, notable names such as Joe Girardi, Dabo Sweeney, and Duck Dynasty's Jase Robertson explain how following God's game plan for life can empower Average Joe's everywhere to get in the game and leave behind a life that testifies to the transformative reality of the gospel.

Meets every Wednesday evening at 7PM in the CLC Triple Room (CLC105-107). The first hour is dedicated to a video, then we will break up into small group discussions. Coffee, water and snacks are provided. Every man is welcome!

MOTHERHOOD AND COMMUNITY (MACS)

PRECEPTS BIBLE STUDIES

MACs is a local mom’s ministry that journeys together through the joys and trials of motherhood. Through regular meetings, small group events, and the prayerful support of a dedicated leadership team, we work to equip moms to be the best they can be for their families.

Interested in joining? Click here for more information.

Precepts studies establish men and women in God's word using Inductive Bible Study. “Inductive” means we use the Bible as the primary source of study to learn about God and what the Bible teaches. Precept studies and training workshops are designed to equip you with inductive study tools so you can discover truth for yourself.
