God designed us for community. Whether you feel like a “people-person” or not, we all need each other.
Each of our groups is unique, but all gather to engage with people, God’s Word, and Jesus for the purpose of life transformation.

small GROUPS

At Austin Oaks, we believe that following Jesus in authentic relationships
with others is key to life transformation.

That’s why we have Small Groups; to find community where we can safely meet, know, and follow Jesus together.

The Men’s Ministry at Austin Oaks Church equips men of all ages to be disciples who are fully alive to God and his purposes. Through Bible studies, retreats and special events, we aim to be men after God’s own heart and provide opportunities for community and fellowship, with a good portion of fun along the way!

Our Fall study is titled Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. God designed men to be powerful. Simply look at the dreams and desires written in the heart of every boy: to be a hero, a warrior, to love a beauty, to live a life of adventure.
But sometime between boyhood and the struggles of yesterday, most men lose heart. All those passions, dreams, and desires get buried under deadlines, pressures, and disappointments. Christianity feels irrelevant to the recovery of their heart. No wonder most men leads lives of quiet resignation, meanwhile looking for a little “life” on the side. In this provocative book, Eldredge invites men to wholeheartedness by recovering their true masculine hearts; healing the wounds and trauma in their stories; and delighting in the strength and wildness they were created to offer the world. John Eldredge calls men—and the women who love them—to discover the true secret of a man’s soul and embrace the danger, passion, and freedom God intended for every man.

Fall Study begins September 21
Meets every Wednesday evening at 7PM in the CLC Triple Room (CLC105-107). The first hour is dedicated to a video, then we will break up into small group discussions. Coffee, water and snacks are provided. Every man is welcome!
