Church Under the Bridge

Jail to Jobs

Church Under the Bridge is a worship service hosted every Sunday from 10am-12 under I-35 between 7th & 8th streets. While many of those who attend are homeless, Church Under the Bridge is a place for all to come and worship God. Services are coordinated by Mission Possible Austin but is a combined effort of the body of Christ throughout Austin. Those who attend this worship service will have the opportunity to be a part of live music, prayer, fellowship and a down-to-earth Gospel message.

While CUB gathers every Sunday, Austin Oaks Church goes and hosts services every 4th Sunday of the month to provide worship music, a message, a meal and often distribute clothing.
The Jail to Jobs mission is to empower youthful offenders to find purpose, personal growth, and achievement. They strive to break the cycle of recidivism, give youthful offenders employment-based mentoring and training, along with spiritual and character development. The ministry partners with construction and culinary professions.

You can get involved in this ministry by being a mentor, leading a bible study, teaching skills, and more!

Musical Outreach

Prison Ministry

Follow us around the city as JJ leads AOCity musical events all over Austin. The goal of this is simple... Come create new relationships with people together as a group. Come be apart of the AOCity's Gospel Brunch Band (coming soon). AOCity also participates in numerous City Wide Worship and Hymn Sing along. Follow us on AOCity Facebook page for more info or check our calendar.
The New Life In Christ Prison Ministry leads hundreds of men and women in prison through correspondence Bible studies, sharing God's love and truth with them. Our team mails individual lessons to inmates, those who have requested lessons complete it and mail it back to AOC. Each letter gets personal attention from a dedicated team member who writes comments and prayers on the lesson, returning the completed work along with the next lesson.

Over 170 men and women declared faith in Jesus Christ through this ministry in 2018.
