Loving Where We Live

We want to do more than just co-exist with our community – we want to serve. Our members look for ways to love our neighbors well, whether they’re living down the street, in prison, or in crisis. We also partner with several local organizations to offer hope and practical help to those in need all around us.

Reserve the AOC Party Trailer

We've got the fun - all you need is the time and place to set it all up! Get to know your neighbors better with a block party this summer. The AOC Party trailer has bounce houses, games , a sound system, snow cone and popcorn machines and more. We'll even provide signs and invitations to make it all happen. It's free, so pick a date, reserve the trailer, and throw a neighborhood party.

"Families Count" en Espanol

The Nueva Vida Ministry at AOC for Spanish speakers reaches out to families in trouble in our community through the "Families Count" course. AOC is the first in the nation to offer this curriculum in Spanish, coming alongside families with one-on-one mentoring and faith-based parenting skills. This course meets court requirements for parental education and helps keep families together.

Tabitha's Circle

We put together simple dresses, shirts, and shorts for those in need. Even if you can't sew a stitch, you can help clothe our community by preparing pre-cut fabrics and other materials for our take-home kits. Folks take these kits home, put the garments together, and then bring them back to AOC for distribution through our partner ministries.
